Posh

Adjective, informal

Typical of or belonging to the upper class of society.

Adverb, informal

In an upper-class way.

Noun, informal

The quality or state of being elegant, stylish, or upper-class.

“She glances round her new flat, torn between bemusement and exasperation. Every piece of furniture her eyes connect scream  posh; for that, she has her boyfriend to blame. To be fair, like the majority of females, she has the tendency to dress posh to impress on occasion. She never grew up going to public school and only acts haughty to tease her boyfriend. She shrugs. The flat is charming; so she’ll ignore the upper-class airs and embrace it.”
