Noun, informal

A man. A dude. A fellow. A guy. (A gentleman, though to be fair, the two don’t appear to correlate.)

“You see the bloke over there? Yes, him. That’s George and he’s a decent bloke, who likes football and going out for pints after a match with his mates.”

  1. He is a propa bloke alright 🙂
Good choice for the first word.

“The two don’t appear to correlate” that bit cracked me up as I imagined a gentleman-bloke wearing a top hat and sneakers.

Love the concept of your blog!

    1. Ah, now this review helps to alleviate my embarrassment from the first handful of examples. 😃 I’m so glad that you got a kick out of my definition for bloke! If I can, I try to lighten up the definitions; even if the mini stories themselves are more the example and purpose of the blog. I like the image that drew up for you! Thank you for reading!!
